Purpose: The Grant Writer serves the board and committees of Main Street Duncan, Inc., which is supporting the mission of being dedicated to preserving the heritage of the downtown Duncan district.
Location: The Grant Writer works in the Main Street office located at 828B W. Main St when meeting with committee and/or board members; otherwise working from home is acceptable.
Key Responsibilities:
· Researches and identifies new funding sources (federal, state, local, corporate, private foundations),
· Meets with Executive Director and program staff to strategically match prospective funding sources with existing and emerging program needs,
· Works closely with Executive Director on conceiving and organizing funding requests,
· Gathers necessary input from appropriate committees relating to program description and needs,
· Drafts funding requests, submits to committees and Executive Director for feedback, incorporate edits/changes,
· Collects support data, appendices, Memorandums of Understanding, and budget materials for inclusion in proposal package,
· Composes appropriate cover letters,
· Completes submission process, i.e., collating, photocopying, packaging and mailing and/or electronic submission,
· Tracks and generates grant updates and progress letters,
· Reports to the Executive Director of Main Street Duncan, Inc.
The Length of Appointment: The Downtown Tour Guide serves one day per week for three months. After three months, the Downtown Tour Guide may be reappointed for another three months at the discretion of the Executive Director.
Time Commitment: Three months minimum, after three months the position will reopen for applications –the board can ask the current grant writer to stay or leave regardless if the grant has been submitted, fulfilled, etc. at any time.
Qualifications: Must have their own laptop/desktop and Wi-Fi/internet access, must be able to demonstrate successful track record of grant research, preparation and submission to diverse funding sources (local, state, federal, private, and corporate),must have thorough knowledge and understanding of the grant process, familiarity with local funding sources is a plus, strong computer/technical skills with demonstrated proficiency in data base management, customer service, public relations, and strong organizational and communication skills.
Support: Training for this position will be provided, if necessary. Also, the Executive Director will be available for questions and assistance.

Purpose: The Downtown Tour Guide serves as the person responsible for providing regular tours of the historic downtown Duncan district for Main Street Duncan, Inc., which is supporting the mission of being dedicated to preserving the heritage of the downtown Duncan district.
Location: The Downtown Tour Guide works on the Main Street in downtown Duncan, Oklahoma from 10th Street to 7th Street.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide information to groups about the historic courthouse and new courthouse statue.
· Knowledgeable about the murals in downtown Duncan.
· Well informed about historic downtown buildings.
· Educated about the community of Duncan and the history.
· Familiar with historic stepping stone trail.
· Basic knowledge of downtown retailers and service providers, past and present.
Reports to the Executive Director of Main Street Duncan, Inc.
The Length of Appointment: The Downtown Tour Guide serves one day per week for three months. After three months, the Downtown Tour Guide may be reappointed for another three months at the discretion of the Executive Director.
Time Commitment: One day per week (Thursdays) for no more than two hours (during the time of 9 am-Noon or 1-4 pm), for a minimum of three months.
Qualifications: Must be willing to learn about downtown Duncan through training with the Main Street Duncan, Inc. Executive Director as well as educate themselves with the information about Downtown Duncan from the Stephens County Historical Museum, pleasant manner, patience, problem-solving ability, dependability, ability to lift 30 or more pounds, must be able to sit or stand for at least three hours at a time.
Support: Training for this position will be provided, if necessary. Also, the Executive Director will be available for questions and assistance.

Purpose: The Event Photographer serves as the photographer for the Main Street Duncan, Inc. hosted event, supporting the mission of being dedicated to preserving the heritage of the downtown Duncan district. The Event Photographer represents the organization during annual events.
Location: The Event Photographer works during events held downtown for no more 2 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
· Photos of people, contests, etc. at events
· Photo releases, if necessary
· Provide digital file of photos for use of Main Street Duncan, Inc.
· Photos formatted to be able to use online –not printed photos, digital only
· Videos of people, contests, etc.
Reports to the Executive Director of Main Street Duncan, Inc.
The Length of Appointment: The Event Photographer takes photos at the event of their choice for no more than 2 hours.
Time Commitment: 2 hours/event
Qualifications: Must have your own camera and sim card to share files; must be able to walk distances of 300 ft. or more, must be able to sit or stand for an extended time, can communicate with public pleasantly, no prior criminal record, must be 21 years of age or older to volunteer at the Wine Festival events.
Support: Training for this position will be provided as the locations for each event are different; a list of desired images may or may not be provided. Also, the Executive Director will be available for questions and assistance.
Age Requirement: None, must be 21 years of age or older to volunteer at September events.

Purpose: The Day Chair serves as the receptionist for the Main Street Duncan, Inc. office, supporting the mission of being dedicated to preserving the heritage of the downtown Duncan district. The Day Chair represents the organization to members of the public who visit its office on Fridays from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Location: The Day Chair works in the office at 828B W. Main St in downtown Duncan, Ok 73533.
Key Responsibilities:
Reports to the Executive Director of Main Street Duncan, Inc.
The Length of Appointment: The Day Chair serves one day per week for three months. After three months, the Day Chair may be reappointed for another three months at the discretion of the Executive Director.
Time Commitment: One day per week (Friday) for six hours (9 am-Noon and 1-4 pm), for a minimum of three months.
Qualifications: Basic knowledge of computer. Pleasant manner, patience, problem-solving ability, dependability.
Support: Training for this position will be provided. Also, the Executive Director will be available for questions and assistance.

The S The Sanitation Engineer serves as the person responsible for removing litter and debris for the Main Street Duncan, Inc. office, supporting the mission of being dedicated to preserving the heritage of the downtown Duncan district. The Sanitation Engineer represents the agency to members of the public.
Purpose: The Sanitation Engineer serves as the person responsible for removing litter and debri for the Main Street Duncan, Inc. office, supporting the mission of being dedicated to preserving the heritage of the downtown Duncan district. The Sanitation Engineer represents the agency to members of the public.
Location: The Sanitation Engineer works in downtown Duncan, Ok 73533 from 7th St. to 12th St. on Walnut Avenue, Main Street and Willow Avenue, including all alleyways.
Key Responsibilities:
· Sanitation Engineer collects and disposes of litter on sidewalks, roadways and alleyways.
· Removes and disposes of weeds on sidewalks and alleyways.
· Sprays sidewalks and alleyways with weed and grass killer.
· Waters flower pots and flower beds.
· Other duties as assigned.
Reports to the Executive Director of Main Street Duncan, Inc.
The Length of Appointment: The Sanitation Engineer serves one day per week for three months. After three months, the Sanitation Engineer may be reappointed for another three months at the discretion of the Executive Director.
Time Commitment: One day per week (M-F) for two hours (during the time of 9 am-Noon or 1-4 pm), for a minimum of three months.

Purpose: The Custodial Executive serves as the person responsible for cleaning the Main Street Duncan, Inc. office, which is supporting the mission of being dedicated to preserving the heritage of the downtown Duncan district. Location: The Custodial Executive works in the Main Street Duncan, Inc. office at 828B W. Main St located in downtown Duncan, Ok 73533.
Key Responsibilities:
· Vacuum front of office.
· Take out trash, replace cans with new liners.
· Dust wooden furniture.
· Clean glass windows and desktop monitors.
· Water plants.
· Clean coffee pot and food/drink areas.
· Clean restroom area.
· Other duties as assigned.
Reports to the Executive Director of Main Street Duncan, Inc.
The Length of Appointment: The Custodial Executive serves one day per month for three months. After three months, the Custodial Executive may be reappointed for another three months at the discretion of the Executive Director.
Time Commitment: One day per week (M-F) for no more than three hours (during the time of 9 am-Noon or 1-4 pm), for a minimum of three months.
